JARECKI VALVES FOR THE POWER INDUSTRY

Jarecki Valves got it's start producing valve and valve components for the Navy Nuclear program and we are now bringing our experience and expertise to the commercial valve market. Targeting areas such as stem leakage, body gasket leakage, performance and endurance, Jarecki has developed a lone of valves which have meet every one of these goals. And our quality control program requires that every valve has a seat leakage test, a hydrostatic test, and a torque test performed, before it leaves the factory. This assures that when the customer receives the valve, they get what they paid for every single time.

SHUT-OFF/MODULATING BALL VALVES

SV Series Ball Valves are floating ball valves with a two-piece ball and stem. This series can be used for applications such as Fly Ash, and others. In Fly Ash services, Jarecki Valves are proven to work successfully in 1650 deg F service. And since the stem is always in the vertical position, leakage between the stem and the stem packing is minimized. Jarecki Valves also provides its live loaded packing system to all valves as a standard option. This further ensures leak free packing and less maintenance and downtime as a result. For metal seated valves, the balls are spherically ground and mate lapped to the seats. This provides both tight shut-off and lower torque.

VENT & BLOCK VALVES

7000 Series Ball Valves were designed to handle high temperatures and pressures. Economically produced in the 600# to 1500# pressure classes, they provide long dependable service life at a low cost. The Jarecki 7000 Series is a three piece in-line repairable valve design. Once the valve is welded in line, the body middle section can be removed by simply unbolting the valve from it's tailpieces and removing the locator keys. The locator keys are essential in this design to absorb the piping stresses to maintain body gasket integrity, as well as proper alignment. The Jarecki 7000 Series was designed to counter the following problems:

  • Stem packing leakage problems are countered through the use of the Jarecki Stem Packing System. This system incorporates the use of two packing seal rings and two anti-extrusion rings. The packing is then live-loaded with belleville springs to insure that the packing seals over time and under temperature and pressure fluctuations.
  • Seat Leakage. For metal seated valves, the balls are spherically ground and mate lapped to the seats. This provides both tight shut-off and lower torque. Seat leakage obtainable are Class V and Class VI.
  • High costs associated with installation and taking out socket weld end valves such as new piping, welding time, radiographic testing of weld, and post weld heat treatment. Also eliminated once the valve is installed is the possible damage to the valve from the welding and heat treating process.

HTV Series Ball Valves were designed to handle high temperatures and pressures. Economically produced in the 2500# to 2700# pressure classes, they provide long dependable service life at a low cost. The Jarecki HTV Series was designed to counter the following problems:

  • Stem packing leakage problems are countered through the use of the Jarecki Stem Packing System. This system incorporates the use of two packing seal rings and two anti-extrusion rings. The packing is then live-loaded with belleville springs to insure that the packing seals over time and under temperature and pressure fluctuations.
  • Seat Leakage. For metal seated valves, the balls are spherically ground and mate lapped to the seats. This provides both tight shut-off and lower torque. Seat leakage obtainable are Class V and Class VI.

DRAIN VALVES

HTV Series Ball Valves are 4500# class valves and were designed to be extremely durable in high temperature and pressure situations.

  • To completely prevent dangerous leakage between the valve body and tailpiece, the HTV Series is seal welded.
  • Stem packing leakage problems are countered through the use of the Jarecki Stem Packing System. This system incorporates the use of two packing seal rings, and two anti-extrusion rings. The packing is then live-loaded with belleville springs to insure that the packing seals over time and under temperature and pressure fluctuations.
  • Seat Leakage. The HTV Series utilizes a unidirectional flow design to eliminate possible leakage behind the seat. Since the balls are spherically ground and mate lapped to the seats, leakage classes obtainable are Class V and Class VI.
